Ebrahim Raisi is the current president of Iran, having assumed office on August 3, 2021, after the 2021 presidential election. Born on December 14, 1960, Raisi is commonly known as Ebrahim Raisi Persian. Before becoming president, he served as the Chief Justice of Iran from 2019 to 2021.
