U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) leadership visited Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, on January 19, 2023, to engage with service members and assess the mission's progress. The delegation, led by AFRICOM Commander Gen. Michael Langley, included Command Senior Enlisted Leader Sgt. Maj. Richard Thresher and other senior leaders.
During their visit, the leaders met with service members from various units, including the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), the 41st Expeditionary Signal Battalion, and the 750th Military Intelligence Battalion.
